Registering takes less than 5 minutes. Just fill out the registration form on our homepage, www.freescholarshipguide.com, and then answer Yes or No to each of the following offers presented by our sponsors. On average, you may be presented with ten sponsored offers. Simply answer Yes or No for each offer. When you have completed the process you will reach a Thank You page with a bold headline that says "Congratulations". It's that easy. First and foremost, to enter the scholarship we have to ensure that each person who enters the contest is a US resident and is old enough to enter. We need your email address and phone number so we can contact you if you win. The registration information that you provide must be accurate, or you will not be eligible to win in the event that your name is drawn as a finalist.

The drawings will be absolutely random and will be watched and authorized by a Notary Public who will certify the results. The current Scholarship contest period began on January 1st, 2008 at 12:00 AM ET and will end on December 31st, 2008 at 11:59 P.M. ET. The drawing for the scholarship award will take place on or about January 15th, 2009.

In order to select the winner we will organize the database of all registrants alphabetically and each registrant will be assigned a six digit number from 1 to 150,000, or whatever the total numbered of registered users is by the registration date. We will then have six hats laid out on a table from left to right. In the first hat we will have the numbers 1 and 0. The other five hats will have the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 0. One number will be drawn from each hat to create a six digit number such as 015,897 or 136,343. The winner of the scholarship will be the registrant in our database whose six digit number matches that drawn from the hats.

After the drawing we will make all efforts to contact the winner. In the event we are not able to reach the winner of the first drawing within 72 hours, we will redo the drawing until we confirm a winner.

The Scholarship is given away two times per year. The first Scholarship drawing will take place and a finalist will be selected on or about June 30th of each year. If all your information matches the registration information, we will send you a few documents to sign, at which point we will make arrangements with you to pay the $10,000 amount to the educational or financial institution of your choice.
